Today I had a great idea and presented it to the team.
When the camera goes inside the old church it would go up to a candle. The fire then gets blown out by some breeze and the church would go dark for a couple of seconds. When light appears again, the camera would show that we are in the future church.

Eerie Church and other building moods
Here I have found some eerie church images , I think they capture the mood that I am picturing for our old church. As you will see some images aren't churches but I think that they still communicate a mood.
